Congratulations to the inaugural National Youth Awards winners!
The National Youth Awards are an Australian Government initiative to celebrate, acknowledge and recognise Australia’s young people. The annual awards provide acknowledgement of outstanding achievements, by young people for young people. The winners were announced on Tuesday 6 August, 2013.
The Positive Media Award: Louise Turk (Illawarra Mercury, NSW).
The Safer Communities Award: Ashley White (SA).
The Health and Wellbeing Award: Jessica Barlow (VIC).
The Creating Pathways Award: Sahema Saberi (VIC).
The Community Leadership Award: Adam Pulford (VIC).
The Personal Courage Award: Skye Clayton (NT).
The Cultural Understanding Award: Lachlan Cooke (WA).
